Mount Saint Agnes Academy will celebrate Catholic Schools Week from January 27 to February 2, 2025, with events highlighting community, students, and families.

A spokesperson said, “Mount Saint Agnes Academy [MSA] is gearing up to celebrate Catholic Schools Week from January 27 to February 2, 2025. This special week will highlight the unique values and vibrant community that make MSA a special place to learn and grow.”

A Week of Celebration:

  • January 27: Celebrating Our Community: Students will enjoy a non-uniform day with proceeds benefiting the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
  • January 28: Celebrating Our MSA Families: The school will host a special coffee morning to recognize and appreciate the vital role that families play in the lives of our students.
  • January 29: Celebrating Our Students: Exciting activities are planned for elementary and middle school students.
  • January 30: Celebrating Our Vocations: A special invitation to clergy for a tour and coffee social with our teachers.
  • January 31: Celebrating with “The Wave-By”: Students will be on Washington St. and Dundonald St. to wave to members of the community between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., fostering a sense of togetherness.
  • February 1 & 2: Celebrating Our Parishes: MSA students and staff will attend mass at various parishes throughout the island, strengthening their connection with the wider church community.

“Catholic Schools Week is an important opportunity to celebrate the unique and valuable education that MSA provides,” said Anna Faria-Machado, principal. “We are looking forward to celebrating with our students, faculty, families, parishioners, and the wider community.”
