Rhys Insley Competes In Canisius Season Finale
Swimmer Rhys Insley and his Canisius University Men’s Swimming and Diving team concluded their 2024-25 regular season with a tough matchup against rival Niagara University at the Burt Flickinger Center in downtown Buffalo.
The Canisius Golden Griffins faced a strong Niagara squad, ultimately falling 238-50 in the Battle of the Bridge rivalry clash.
Insley contributed to the team’s efforts with performances in his individual events. In the men’s 100 yard breaststroke, he finished 10th with a time of 1:01.25. He then tackled the men’s 200 yard breaststroke, again securing 10th place with a time of 2:17.25.
Insley also showcased his versatility by swimming the anchor leg for the Canisius men’s 200 yard freestyle relay ‘C’ team. The team finished 7th with a time of 1:32.83.
