Phillips & Arizona State Sweep Northern Arizona
Daniel Phillips and his No. 24 Arizona State men’s tennis teammates bounced back from their hard-fought battle with Pepperdine by sweeping Northern Arizona University [NAU] in a 4-0 victory.
The Arizona State duo of Phillips and Tanner Povey remained undefeated in doubles play, clinching the doubles point with a 6-3 victory over Piotr Galus and Mateusz Lange.
Headed into singles with a lead, Phillips picked up a win via retirement, though ahead 6-0, 1-0 in his match against Lange.
