BCCL Launches Reception Year Program
BCCL launches a Reception Year program in September 2025, offering early education with small classes and the IEYC.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Centre for Creative Learning School, [BCCL] is excited to announce the launch of its new Reception Year program, accepting students now for September 2025. This innovative early education program will welcome four-year-olds into a nurturing and dynamic learning environment, setting the foundation for lifelong success.
“Recognizing the growing need for high-quality early years education, BCCL will offer a Reception Year program designed to give young learners a head start in their educational journey. The program will accommodate a maximum of 12 students, ensuring small class sizes and individualized attention, with two dedicated teachers guiding their development.
“BCCL will implement the International Early Years Curriculum [IEYC], a globally recognized curriculum that fosters creativity, inquiry-based learning, and social-emotional development. The program is open to all students, not just those with learning differences. However, for children who may later be identified with learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, auditory processing disorder, or ADHD early enrollment at BCCL provides a unique advantage by offering a supportive and personalized learning environment from the start.”

Research consistently shows that high-quality early learning experiences contribute to stronger cognitive and social development,” said Head of School, Cindy Corday. “We are thrilled to expand our offerings to include Reception Year, ensuring that more children in Bermuda can benefit from an engaging and student-centered learning approach.”
