OBA Recognises International Women’s Day
“The OBA reaffirms its commitment to advancing policies that empower women, promote equal opportunities, and accelerate progress toward true gender equality,” OBA Leader Jarion Richardson said in advance of International Women’s Day.
Mr Richardson said, “Today [March 8], we recognise and honour the remarkable women within the One Bermuda Alliance. They work tirelessly on the frontlines of Bermuda’s political landscape and behind the scenes and assist in creating a more hopeful and inclusive future for themselves and the generations of women behind them.
“Their dedication and contributions continue to shape our party and our country, inspiring the next generation to push forward with purpose and determination.
“We join the global community in celebrating International Women’s Day 2025. This year’s theme, Accelerating Action, reminds us of the need to continually break barriers, champion equality, and drive meaningful change for women in Bermuda and beyond.
“As we acknowledge this important day, the OBA reaffirms its commitment to advancing policies that empower women, promote equal opportunities, and accelerate progress toward true gender equality. Together, we will continue to take action, drive change, and build a Bermuda where all women can thrive.
