CedarBridge Academy recently celebrated Foreign Languages Week from March 17th to 21st, embracing the theme “Multilingual Voices, One Global Community.” The week-long observance culminated in a lively cultural event on Friday, March 21st, held in the school’s North Courtyard.

The celebration featured an array of performances, including a dynamic dance routine by students from Sandys Middle School, who delivered an impressive showcase under the guidance of their teachers, Señorita Stowe and Madame Anglade.

However, the true highlight of the day was the cultural fashion show, a vibrant display of Bermuda’s diverse multicultural heritage. Students and faculty members took to the stage in traditional attire representing a range of cultures, including those from the Dominican Republic, the Philippines, Venezuela, France, Portugal, Costa Rica, Yoruba [African], Arabic cultures, and more. The showcase was met with enthusiastic applause, reinforcing the school’s commitment to cultural appreciation and global awareness.
