Agricultural Exhibition Equestrian Day #1 Results
The 84th Annual Agricultural Exhibition got underway at the Botanical Gardens, with the main ring dominated by a packed schedule of equestrian events.
The prestigious Annual Exhibition Cup in the riding horse in hand, 15.2hh & under class was claimed by Christina Davis riding Time Flies.
The riding horse in hand, over 15.2hh class saw Patricia Borland and Bendoctro take home the Island Girl trophy, demonstrating their expertise in handling and presenting their mount.
Christina Davis continued her successful start to the exhibition, also winning Tte Donald Lindo Cup in the riding horse, 15.2hh & under class, this time with Time Flies under saddle.
The riding horse, over 15.2hh class for the Clay Merrell Trophy was won by Michael Rodrigues and his horse, Rambo.
The Western riding disciplines were also showcased, with Michael Watson riding Docs Flash securing the Jason Jones Memorial Trophy in the western parade horse or pony class.
At the conclusion of the day’s equestrian events, the coveted best riding horse in show champion title was awarded to Roseland, while Rambo was named the reserve champion.
