Video: Krista Dyer Claims Silver Medal In China
[Updated with video] Krista Dyer has claimed a silver medal at the Sanda World Cup in Jiangyin, China, today [April 9].
Dyer, who represents the Bermuda Sanshou Association [BSA], won her second round-robin bout in the women’s 65kg division, earning a points victory over Nicole Lowe-Tarbet, of Australia.
Garon Wilkinson, the BSA president, who travelled as Dyer’s coach, told Bernews: “I’m really pleased and happy that Krista has come away with a silver.”
Dyer will compete at the World Games in Chengdu, China, in August and the World Wushu Championships in Brasilia, Brazil, in September.
