BOTA Celebrates Occupational Therapy Month
The Bermuda Occupational Therapy Association [BOTA] is inviting the public to help mark Occupational Therapy Month by wearing blue on April 9, with their 2025 scholarship campaign set to launch on May 1.
A spokesperson said, “April is Occupational Therapy Month. The Bermuda Occupational Therapy Association serves as a unifying body, uniting occupational therapy practitioners, students, and supporters to observe OT Month. This annual initiative is both a celebration of the profession and an effort to raise its profile.
“Please join us in celebrating the profession of Occupational Therapy by wearing blue on Wednesday, 9th April 2025.
“If you know of an occupational therapist, have received assistance from one, or simply wish to demonstrate your support, consider wearing blue. And be sure to tag us on social media @bota_bda.
“This year marks the BOTA’s bursary year. On May 1st, we will initiate our 2025 scholarship campaign. The Dr. Joanne Pratt Bursary Award will be granted to a Bermudian student who is pursuing a career in occupational therapy and demonstrates exceptional character and academic aptitude.
“Please visit the Bermuda Scholarships website to apply.”
