Planet Math Visits 16 Different Schools
Planet Math’s 2025 Math+A+Thon is energizing students across Bermuda with hands-on learning experiences, having already visited 16 schools as it continues its island-wide tour.
A spokesperson said, “Just over two months into the 2025 Planet Math Math+A+Thon, and the excitement continues to build as the initiative engages students across Bermuda in dynamic, hands-on math experiences.
Gilbert Institute
“Since its relaunch in February, Planet Math has already visited 16 schools, reaching thousands of students across the island. With nine schools remaining, the Planet Math team is gearing up to continue their tour, with upcoming visits scheduled for:
- Somersfield Academy Middle– Friday, May 2nd
- Prospect Primary School – Tuesday, May 6th
- Somersfield Academy Primary– Friday, May 9th
- St. David’s Primary – Tuesday, May 13th”

“The enthusiasm we’ve seen from students, teachers, and principals has been incredible,” said a Planet Math spokesperson. “Our goal has always been to spark curiosity and confidence in math, and we’re thrilled to see that happening every time we go to a school. We want to remind the community that this initiative is not just about numbers—it’s about building a lifelong love for learning among our young people.”
The spokesperson said, “Planet Math encourages families and the public to follow the journey and support the remaining school visits.
