Jessica Lewis Reflects On Switzerland Success
Jessica Lewis has reflected on her impressive performances at the recent Para Athletics Grand Prix in Switzerland.
The four-time Paralympian won a gold medal in the 200 metres [30.82sec] and bronze in the 100 [16.36] and 400 [58.58].
Her time in the 400 was a personal best.
“That’s a wrap on the races in Switzerland,” Lewis wrote on social media.
“Excited to have come away with a PB in the 400m in the third competition!
“While the sport comes with its highs and lows, both of which I felt during this trip, I’m grateful for the chance to always learn something and work to improve on it.
The 32-year-old, who trains in Victoria, British Columbia, at the Athletics Canada West Hub, added: “Heading back for another few weeks’ training block before our races in Ontario in July and August.
“This journey I’m on wouldn’t be possible without the help of so many people who help me continue to believe in myself and work hard every day to be the best I can be.
“Thank you to Arch Capital Group for your continued support and belief in this journey.”
