The Minister booked a First Class seat.

It was about 20 years ago that our Premier sought to shame airlines into giving PLP Government Ministers fee upgrades by claiming that they did so when the UBP was in power and there was a change of policy when the PLP Government came to power.

What happened to those fee upgrades?

    • Frequent Flyer says:

The airlines were subsidized and assisted by the UBP and Doc Brown of the PLP. All of that came to an end under every PLP and OBA Premier. With the previous governments helping the airlines, they in turn would also step in and cut ticket prices and place all gov officials in first class.
