Volunteers Needed For Bermuda Pride
OUTBermuda is calling for volunteers to support Bermuda Pride, with over 200 positions available for the week of events happening from June 29 to July 6.
A spokesperson said, “As Bermuda Pride 2025 approaches, OUTBermuda invites the public to take part in a meaningful way. With a full schedule of events planned from June 29 and July 6, the week requires over 200 volunteer positions, and there are some volunteer opportunities still available!
“From directing foot traffic to greeting people, to helping with set up, and even decorating, volunteers are the engine behind every Bermuda Pride event. Whether you have a few hours or an entire evening, your time makes a meaningful difference.”
“Bermuda Pride is more than a celebration,” says OUTBermuda Executive Director, Joshua Samuels. “It’s a movement built by the people who show up. Volunteers are the heartbeat of Pride, they keep us safe, they keep us moving, and they help ensure that every person who attends feels welcomed, seen, and supported.”
A spokesperson added, “This year’s theme, “Pride is Protest. Pride is Power. Pride is Us,” reminds us that Pride has always been more than a party. In a global climate where LGBTQ+ rights are under renewed threat, the simple act of showing up, as a participant, as an ally, or as a volunteer, sends a powerful message of love, solidarity, and visibility.
