67-Year-Old Man In ICU After Collision

A 67-year-old man is in the ICU following a collision that occurred yesterday morning [July 8] in Smith’s parish.

A police spokesperson said, “At last check, a pedal cyclist struck by a car around 8:15am Tuesday, 8th July 2025, in the North Shore Road, Jennings Road, Smith’s parish area, was receiving medical treatment in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“It now appears that the pedal cyclist, understood to be a 67-year-old Devonshire man and car driver, understood to be a 62-year-old Warwick woman, were travelling in opposite directions along North Shore Road when the collision occurred.

“There were no other injuries reported and both vehicles involved were damaged.

“Traffic diversions were in place for approximately two hours while the scene was processed.

“Any witnesses that have not already come forward are asked to contact Constable Llamar Clarke by calling 211, or e-mailing lclarke@bps.bm, at the earliest opportunity.”
