Two Vehicle Collision In Smiths
There are traffic diversions in place due to a two-vehicle collision near the junction of Knapton Hill and South Road this evening [July 1].
A police spokesperson said, “Good evening all, please be advised there has been a serious two vehicle road traffic collision involving a taxi and a motorcycle, near the junction of Knapton Hill and South Road, Smiths.
“The roadway is currently blocked while the scene is being processed.
“As a result, eastbound of traffic is being diverted over Saint Mark’s Road, while westbound traffic is being diverted over Harrington Hundreds.
“Motorists are urged to approach the area with caution.
“Where possible, please use alternative routes to get to your destinations.”
