Golfers Continue Competing In South Carolina
Bermuda’s golfers have made progress at the 2025 World Amateur Handicap Championships in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Several players positioned themselves for a strong final round after moving up the leaderboards on the third day of competition.
In the Women’s Gross Division, Tracy Burgess delivered the day’s top performance, claiming first place in Flight #54 with a third-round score of 76. Her total score for the tournament is 238. Morgan Lightbourne, another Bermudian in the same division, is in eighth place with a total of 256.
Richard Marriott is tied for first in the Senior Men’s [50-59] Division, Flight #10, after a third-round Net score of 72. His total score is 222. In the same division, Anthony Than is 30th with a total score of 243.
In the Senior Women 60 & Above Division, Ann Symonds remains in third place in Flight #57. Her third-round Net score of 75 brings her tournament total to 229, nine strokes behind the leader. Ann Mitchell climbed to third place in Flight #58 with a third-round score of 79, for a total of 237.
In the Super Senior Men’s [70-79] Division, Gary Venning is in 37th place in Flight #47 with a score of 257. Frank Morgan is tied for 24th in Flight #49.
