Daniel Phillips Leads Tulane To Invitational Win
Bermudian tennis player Daniel Phillips helped Tulane University secure its second consecutive victory at the Blue Gray Invitational. Tulane defeated Rice 2-1, with Phillips contributing to both wins.
In doubles play, Phillips and his partner Alec Gaudin defeated Rafael Botran and Gabriel Porras 8-3, earning the doubles point for Tulane.
Phillips then won his singles match against Botran in three sets. After losing the first set 7-5, Phillips won the second set 7-6. He then clinched the match for Tulane with a 6-2 victory in the third set tie-breaker.
