Janita Burke Releases ‘Praise His Name’
Bermudian songwriter Janita Burke, founder of Kairos XXII Productions, has released her latest single Praise His Name, a powerful anthem celebrating God’s faithfulness and calling listeners to worship.
A spokesperson said, “Bermudian songwriter Janita Burke, founder of Kairos XXII Productions, announces the release of her latest single, ‘Praise His Name’—a powerful musical proclamation that celebrates God’s faithfulness and invites all to worship.
“The song comes on the heels of Burke’s August 22 release, ‘Good God,’ and is part of a series of four songs penned in Ghana and recorded in February 2025. All four tracks were co-produced by Ghana’s 3Sixteen Music, who also feature on each song alongside other collaborators. The remaining two songs from the collection are scheduled for release in October.
“‘Praise His Name’ was birthed in August 2024 during Burke’s mission trip to Ghana, where she was tasked with organizing a gospel concert for the people of Krobo, Odumase in under two weeks. What began as a daunting challenge soon became a testimony of divine orchestration.
“While out on a walk, Burke and Alberta Smith, director of His Majesty’s Happy Home, came upon a medieval-style arena Burke had never seen before. Though many Christians in the community had long prayed for an event there, none had yet taken place. That same evening, both women felt a prompting from the Holy Spirit to host the concert despite the impossibly short timeline.
“God provided unexpected help. Two local young men stepped in as connectors, and through introductions by Bermudian Patricia Nesbitt, Burke met Ghanaian creative Kweku Aacht [AWO World] and producer Kingsley Adom [3Sixteen Music]. These partnerships provided critical technical support and marked the beginning of long-term collaborations.
“Burke recalls writing ‘Praise His Name’ on August 13, 2024, just days before the concert. The lyrics proved prophetic. On the event day, hours-long power outages, insufficient electrical supply, and cascading delays threatened to derail everything. Yet while others looked to her for direction, Burke clung to the words God had given her:
‘I know my God gives me the victory, yes, praise His name.
I know my God, He’s Lord of everything, yes, praise His name.’
“Even before the third generator arrived to restore power, children and families of different dominations and backgrounds, lifted their voices in the dark, worshipping with song and dance. When the lights finally came on, the concert erupted in triumphant praise. What a lesson in perseverance and standing on the promises of God.
“Featuring the dynamic vocals of Pastor Sammie Obeng-Poku, ‘Praise His Name’ is both thanksgiving and testimony—a reminder that God’s presence transforms obstacles into opportunities for praise. With its amapiano rhythms and spirit-lifting energy, it promises to move hearts and get listeners dancing.
“The single officially releases Friday, September 12, 2025, on all streaming platforms. The official video will premiere the same day on the Kairos XXII Productions YouTube channel.”
