St. John’s Anglican Church in Pembroke hosted a Community Prayer Vigil for Peace and Protection this weekend.
A spokesperson previously said, “This is not a political event. It is a solemn and open invitation to stand together — to pray for the victims, to support the families affected, and to ask God to guide leaders, drivers and all citizens toward choices that protect life. The crisis of violent incidents and the rise in weapons-related offences has been widely reported and debated in our community; many feel a deep need to respond in faith and action.”
