Softball: Performance & Brewers Win
The Bermuda Softball League’s Fall League season opened with a high-scoring night at the Michael Preece Softball Diamond, producing 45 runs across two games.
Asere Performance defeated the King Beaches 14-7 in the opener, powered by Jorge Lopez, who went 3 for 4 with a home run and five RBIs. The King Beaches’ Troy Richardson also went 3 for 4 with two home runs and three RBIs, but his effort was not enough to close the gap.
In the second game, the Moongate Brewers cruised past Hakuna Matata 21-3. Gary Adams led the way, going 2 for 3 with a home run and four RBIs, as multiple Brewers players contributed to the rout. Hakuna Matata’s Rohan Simons had two RBIs, but the team was overpowered by the Brewers’ offense.
