Lions Club Take Part In Paget Clean-Up
Members of the Lions Clubs of Bermuda joined forces with the environmental charity Keep Bermuda Beautiful for a hands-on clean-up operation.
Lions, Leos, Cubs, parents, and friends participated in the “Sea of Change” Coastal Clean-up at East Broadway/Crow Lane in Paget, working together to protect Bermuda’s shoreline.
Over the course of the clean-up, volunteers collected 328 items, weighing a total of 64.8 lbs, across a 0.4-mile stretch of coast.
“Together, we rolled up our sleeves, collected litter, and showed our commitment to protecting Bermuda’s beautiful coastline,” the Lions Clubs of Bermuda said.
“A big thank you to everyone who came out and supported this first environmental service project for our Leos – what an amazing start!”
