International Partner Summit Set For Oct 19-22
The Bermuda Tourism Authority [BTA] today announced details for the 2025 Bermuda [International] Partner Summit, scheduled for October 19–22, 2025 at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.
A spokesperson said, “With the theme ‘Unlocking Bermuda’s Future: Partnership, Renewal, Growth,’ the Summit will bring together international tour operators, airline vacation representatives, online travel agents, and travel trade leaders alongside Bermuda’s hoteliers and on-island industry partners.
“This year’s International Summit marks the first international partner summit hosted on-island by the BTA in many years, underscoring a renewed commitment to convening the global travel trade in Bermuda.
“The event — open to invited partners only — is a strategic business-to-business platform designed to deepen Bermuda’s global travel partnerships, strengthen linkages with the island’s tourism providers, and renew the energy and affinity for Bermuda as a preferred destination.
“Key local partners will participate in the morning sessions, ensuring stronger collaboration between international buyers and Bermuda’s on-island suppliers. The afternoon sessions will have local hoteliers engaged in on-on one meetings with trade partners.
“Summit goals:
- Strengthen Global Connections: Forge new and deeper relationships with tour operators, airlines, and online travel agents to elevate Bermuda’s presence in key markets.
- Showcase Bermuda’s Value: Share insider updates on Bermuda’s strategic priorities and new product developments – including the projected > 25% boost in room inventory from the Grotto Bay and Fairmont Southampton redevelopments.
- Support Local Linkages: Facilitate direct connections between international partners and Bermuda’s hoteliers, excursion providers, and tourism entrepreneurs.
- Renew Affinity for Bermuda: Equip international partners with a deeper understanding of Bermuda’s hotel offerings through immersive island experiences that showcase both the destination’s natural charm and its exceptional hospitality.

“The opening session will feature speakers representing several key sectors of the global travel and aviation industry, including:
- Alisha Prakash, Associate Editorial Director at Travel + Leisure, a leading international travel publication known for its destination coverage and annual World’s Best Awards.
- Scott Mayerowitz, Founder of GlobeTrotScott Strategies, a journalist and communications strategist who advises destinations on traveller engagement and media relations. His previous roles include Executive Editor at The Points Guy and Deputy Global Business Editor at The Associated Press.
- Olivier Ponti, Director of Intelligence & Marketing at ForwardKeys, provides global air travel data and insights that help destinations align marketing strategies with real-time booking trends.
- The State of the Airline Industry panel will be moderated by David Appleby, Director of Air Service Development Consulting for ASM and will include senior executives from JetBlue, Skyport Bermuda, and BermudAir.
- Dona Regis-Prosper, Secretary-General of the Caribbean Tourism Organisation [CTO], who leads the regional body’s efforts to advance sustainable and data-informed tourism development across the Caribbean.
“These speakers will share insights and travel trend forecasts, offering delegates perspective on the evolving dynamics shaping the global tourism landscape. Additionally, Expedia Group will be on-island conducting training sessions for hotel partners focused on inventory management and optimisation — underscoring the Summit’s direct contribution to industry development and capacity building.”
