Netball Team Win Twice In ‘Battle Of The Isles’
The Bermuda national netball team secured two victories on the opening day of the Battle of the Isles Netball Tournament in the Caribbean, finishing their fixtures undefeated.
The Bermudian team started the day with a 42-30 win over co-hosts St. Maarten. The match saw a significant comeback after the Bermuda team trailed by seven goals in the first half. A strong performance in the third quarter allowed Bermuda to recover and ultimately win the game by a 12-goal margin.
Building on the momentum of the first victory, Bermuda secured a second comprehensive win against St. Eustatius with a final score of 59-29.
