Police Driver Training Courses Underway
The Bermuda Police Service is conducting tactical driver training.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] Tactical Training Unit is conducting driver training courses involving police cars + police motorcycles between Monday, 6th October and Wednesday, 5th November 2025.
“Road users are reminded to give way and exercise caution when they encounter BPS driver training vehicles, the same way they would for any emergency vehicle.”

I promise to give the driver training vehicles the same respect other road users give to stop signs and traffic lights.
“Tactical Training Unit?” Is that the unit where officers run around with fully automatic MP-5 and similar submachine guns? Lordie, Lordie… I had a conversation once with an officer who lamented she was losing her muscle memory because live fire exercises were rare.
No, my bad, that is a different unit.
Let’s hope those officers training on motorcycles do not crash like they did a few years back.
