Daniel Phillips Advances In ITA Championships
Bermudian tennis player Daniel Phillips and his partner Hady Kordy have advanced in both the singles and doubles competitions at the 2025 ITA Division I Men’s Southern Regional Championships at the University of Alabama.
Representing Tulane University, Phillips secured his spot in the singles main draw Round of 32. He defeated Benjamin Martin of the University of Mississippi in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1.
In the doubles competition, Phillips and Kordy also advanced. The Tulane duo defeated Charlie Piegza and Santiago Arredondo with an 8-5 win in the 8-game pro-set format.
