Leverock And Eve Reach 50 Bermuda Caps
Footballers Dale Eve and Danté Leverock reached a landmark of 50 international caps in Bermuda’s World Cup qualifying match against Trinidad and Tobago at the Flora Duffy Stadium on Friday [October 10].
Goalkeeper Eve and defender Leverock, a former Bermuda captain, both started the group B game, which Trinidad won 3-0.
Leverock retired from international duty in May 2021 before reversing his decision a month later.
Reggie Lambe is the island’s most-capped player with 63 appearances, while Roger Lee [49] and Zeiko Lewis [47] are closing in on the milestone.
Bermuda face Jamaica away in a World Cup qualifier tomorrow [October 14].
