Nominations Open For 44th Sports Awards
The Department of Sport & Recreation has opened nominations for the 44th Annual Sports Awards, honoring Bermuda’s top athletes, teams, and sports ambassadors.
The Government posted the graphic online below, saying, “The Department of Sport & Recreation is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 44th Annual Sports Awards, celebrating Bermuda’s outstanding athletes, teams, and sports ambassadors.

“Help us honour Bermuda’s sporting excellence by recognising those who inspire, lead, and achieve on and off the field.”
I love to see communities celebrating their athletes like this. Recognising the hard work of local teams, coaches and volunteers makes a huge difference in keeping young people engaged in sport. We work with a lot of clubs who look for custom trophies and plaques to make their awards nights feel special, so it’s inspiring to see Bermuda putting this kind of spotlight on sporting excellence.
