Bermudian Olympians Asked To Guide Future
Bermudian Olympians have been invited to participate in the Fit for the Future athlete consultation – a new initiative aimed at shaping the future direction of the Olympic Movement.
The programme, launched by International Olympic Committee [IOC] president Kirsty Coventry, seeks input from both active and retired Olympians, as well as elite athletes who have competed at the international level.
Coventry – a former athlete herself and newly elected IOC president – emphasised the importance of athlete perspectives in a message shared on social media
“As a former athlete, I know how important it is that your voice leads the way,” she said. “Your insights will guide our path forward with athletes always at the heart of the Olympic Movement.”
