The Bermuda Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority hosted its Annual Children’s Reading Festival this weekend, celebrating literacy and inspiring a love of reading among Bermuda’s children.
A spokesperson previously said, “This year’s theme, ‘The Next Chapter,’ emphasizes that the Children’s Reading Festival is more than free books—it’s about giving parents and families access to a wide range of literacy resources that support and encourage reading at home.
“The Festival is designed to promote a lifelong love of reading among Bermuda’s children. Every child in attendance—from birth to age 14—will receive a free book to take home. Parents can engage with local organizations and experts who will share tools, information, and strategies to help children grow as confident readers and learners.
