Deloitte Donates $20,000 To Family Centre
Deloitte Bermuda has made a donation of $20,000 to assist 11 families supported by the Family Centre.
A spokesperson said, “Deloitte Bermuda has made a donation of $20,000 to assist 11 families supported by the Family Centre, providing them with an all-encompassing holiday experience. Deloitte staff members formed eleven teams and used the funds to purchase gifts for children, along with grocery gift cards, toiletries, BELCO credits, vouchers for Gibbons Company, and a Christmas meal from the MarketPlace.
“The Family Centre is an accredited non-profit organization focused on supporting families across Bermuda. It delivers innovative, no-cost mental health counseling for children, adolescents, and their families, in addition to community outreach and advocacy programs. Committed to removing barriers to care, the Family Centre works to promote healing, hope, and connection, helping to create a healthier future for Bermuda’s children.”
Susan Richardson, the Family Centre’s Director of Counselling Services, said, “We are deeply grateful to Deloitte for their generosity and continued partnership over the years. This year, their donation ensured that 11 of our families experiencing significant financial hardship enjoyed Christmas, with gifts that thoughtfully reflected both their wishes and basic needs. The care shown by Deloitte staff was touching, and many families expressed heartfelt gratitude for being selected and supported in such a meaningful way.”
