Volleyball Teams Compete For Second Day

Bermuda’s Paradise Hitters Volleyball Club teams continued play on Day Two of the 2025 Nike Florida Holiday Challenge Volleyball Tournament. Both the 17 & Under and 15 & Under squads recorded losses during the competition.

The Paradise Hitters 17 & Under team lost three matches on the second day. In a Round 1 Crossover 3 contest, the team fell 2-0 to Fission 17 Elite 1, ending with set scores of 17-25 and 12-25.

The team proceeded to the Silver Pool A Division for two matches, both of which extended to three sets. Against JJVA 17 Gold, the Bermuda squad lost 2-1. JJVA took the first set 25-19, Paradise Hitters won the second 25-20, and JJVA secured the third set 15-13.

In the final match of the day against QVA 17 Hydrogen, the 17 & Under team recorded a 2-1 loss. QVA won the opening set 25-18, the Bermudian side took the second set 25-20, and QVA won the decisive set 15-8.

The Paradise Hitters 15 & Under team finished Day Two with an 0-2 record. In Round 2 of the Gold Pool 1 Division, the team lost 2-1 to Hunter’s 15U Red Travel. The Bermudians won the first set 25-22, while Hunter’s took the remaining sets 25-21 and 15-12.

The squad concluded the day with a 2-0 loss to Fission 15 Elite 1, with final set scores of 17-25 and 15-25.
