Land Valuation List 2026
Land Valuation And Tax Act 1967
In accordance with the provisions of the Land Valuation and Tax Act 1967, the Land Valuation Department is required to prepare a new Valuation List to reflect changes in rental levels across the Island.
The 2026 Valuation List will be published on 31st December 2026 and will replace the current Valuation List for land tax purposes. Annual Rental Values included in the new List will be based on rental levels as at 1st July 2025.
From 2026, revaluation return forms will be completed electronically. Hard copy forms will not be distributed for residential and commercial properties, except for certain specialist commercial properties [car parks, cycle liveries, gas stations and hotel shops] and all tourist units. A prepaid return envelope will be provided with all hard copy forms.
The online forms will be accessible at www.gov.bm/2026-revaluation from the date of this notice.
All forms are to be completed within 21 days of the date of service of this notice as this is a legal requirement, for which there are penalties.
All information provided will be treated as confidential and used solely for the purposes of the revaluation exercise. Data will not be shared with any other entity.
The Land Valuation Department relies on complete and accurate submissions to compile the 2026 Valuation List. Every return is essential to ensure the integrity of the revaluation process.
