Bermuda Golfers Compete At Ocean View Medal
The Bermuda Golf Association held its March Monthly Medal at Ocean View Golf Course, featuring multiple divisions.
Jonathan James won the Men’s First Flight with a three-over-par round, one stroke ahead of Damian Palanyandi. Roger Brangman and Cornell Bean tied for third, both finishing five-over par.
Tracy Burgess led the Ladies Division with a three-over-par round, six strokes ahead of Morgan Lightbourne. Katrin Burnie finished third at 13-over par.
Lamont Marshall captured the Men’s Second Flight title with a 15-over-par round, ahead of Shawn Wade and Gareth Tavares.
Arthur Jones recorded the only under-par round of the day, one-under, to win the Senior Men’s First Flight over Mark Ray and Hav Trott. Sinclair Trott won the Second Flight with a seven-over-par total, ahead of Miles Stephens and Aaron Adams.
In the Junior Division, Lewis MacFarlane won the White Tees flight for ages 12 to 14 with a two-over-par round, beating Damian Moniz. Joshua Cann won the Red Tees flight with a 16-over-par total, followed by Bradford Laing and Arthur Cooper.
