Motorcyclist Injured In Pembroke Collision

[Updated] A male motorcyclist suffered serious head injuries in a single-vehicle crash on North Shore Road in Pembroke early this morning.

A police spokesperson said, “Shortly before 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, police and Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to a serious single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle, near the junction of North Shore Road and West Park Lane, Pembroke.

“Upon arrival, officers discovered the male motorcycle rider lying unresponsive on the roadway. He was attended to at the scene and regained consciousness, before he was transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further treatment for what were described as serious head injuries.

“The bike rider is reported to have shown signs of impairment.

“The collision resulted in the roadway being closed at the collision scene, with traffic travelling west, diverted from North Shore Road onto Berkeley Road. Traffic traveling east, diverted through West Pembroke School parking area and turned back in a westerly direction onto North Shore Road.

“Motorists are advised to avoid North Shore Road in the area of the collision and use alternative routes to get to their destinations.”

Update: A police spokesperson said, “The roadway has now been reopened to regular traffic flow.

“Thank you for your patience and cooperation while the collision scene was processed.”
