News that the Green Family pledged $500,000 over five years to support hospital maternity and baby care, Royal Naval Dockyard ranked among the top ten cruise destinations in Cruiseline.com awards, and Women in Reinsurance honored Sophia Greaves with the WiRe Woman of the Year Award were among the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, footballer Aaliyah Nolan scored as Bradford City Women beat South Shields Women 3–0, karting driver Scott Barnes won the Rok Cup Florida Winter Tour title in Orlando, Bermuda Electric Light Company held its Long Service Awards honoring employees for their years of service, and Tobacco Bay Beach has been ranked the 13th best beach in the world for 2026 by TripAdvisor.
