Nathan Trott Future Talks Set For Summer
Bermudian goalkeeper Nathan Trott could have his future decided at the end of the season after playing a key role in Cardiff City’s promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.
The 27-year-old has made 41 appearances since joining on loan from Danish side FC Copenhagen in August, with an option for a permanent move.
However, Cardiff may face competition to sign the former West Ham United goalkeeper.
Trott made an important save as Cardiff kept a clean sheet in their 1-0 win over Port Vale on Tuesday.
Manager Brian Barry-Murphy said discussions over Trott’s future would be delayed until after the final fixtures.
“I think he’s done great over the course of the season and we’re very grateful to have him,” Barry-Murphy told BBC Sport.
“Like with the other players, there’s so many different moving parts to these things speculation is a waste of time.
“If something happens, then it happens and if not, it’s all good.”
Cardiff, who have already secured promotion, face Northampton at home tomorrow [April 25].
