Football: PHC Zebras & FC Bascome Win
The PHC Zebras and FC Bascome earned victories during the third week of the Bermuda Football Association’s Under-23 League matches.
North Village Rams 0 PHC Zebras 1
The first half of the match ended without any goals from either team.
The deciding goal occurred in the 68th minute after a penalty was awarded following a play in the North Village Rams penalty area. Tristen Davis converted the penalty kick for the PHC Zebras to record the only goal of the match.
Dandy Town Hornets 2 FC Bascome 3
Tre Burgess scored the opening goal for FC Bascome in the 27th minute, giving his team a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Enrique Swan equalized for the Dandy Town Hornets in the 51st minute. FC Bascome regained the lead in the 73rd minute when Burgess scored his second goal of the match.
Rylan Dasilva extended the FC Bascome lead to 3-1 with a goal in the 80th minute. Jhazii Johnson scored a second goal for the Dandy Town Hornets two minutes into stoppage time, bringing the final score to 3-2.
