Summer League Netball Results
Netball Bermuda’s Summer League season got under way at Bernard Park with matches in the Women’s and 5/5 Coed Divisions.
In the Women’s Division, the BDA College Chargers defeated Tropical Storm behind ten goals from Sydney Santos and eight from Jaelyn Rewan-Lambert.
Diyah Steede scored seven goals for Tropical Storm.
Devonshire Recreation Club also opened with a win over Phoenix Blaze.
Charlene Bogle Gomez scored nine goals, while Miesha Greaves added six. Danielle Raynor scored nine goals for Phoenix Blaze.
In the 5/5 Coed Division, Jasmine Mapp scored 18 goals as the Atlantic Aces defeated Somerset. Simeon Burrows was named Somerset’s MVP and Best Attacker.
Storm Chasers also recorded a win, with Antoine Williams scoring 18 goals against the Allshore Ballers.
FIFA referee Amaury Majors was named Best Defender for the Chasers, while Ebonie Cox scored seven goals for Allshore.
