Munya Wins 800M Race At Southeast Meet
Bermudian athlete Amaris Munya raced to victory in the Girls High School 800-meter final at the 2026 Southeast Meet of Champions, held at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.
Munya, representing the Montverde Academy track program, competed against high school athletes from across the southern United States.
She crossed the finish line in a winning time of 2:19.55 to secure the gold medal.
