Curtis Dickinson To Hold ‘Fireside Chats’

Curtis Dickinson – who is running for the position of PLP leader — is set to hold ‘Fireside Chats’ across Bermuda, beginning with a Central Zone event on June 23 at the Ruth Seaton James Centre.

In a post on Instagram, Mr Dickinson said, “Join me for the first of three Fireside Chats being held across Bermuda as we begin with our Central Zone conversation. Come out and be part of the conversation as we discuss the issues that matter most to you, your family, and our community.

Mr Dickinson is running for the PLP party’s leadership position, which will become available as David Burt will not be standing for re-election as Party Leader later this year. As the PLP currently forms the Government of Bermuda, the party’s leader becomes Premier. The PLP holds a leadership election every four years, with the next one scheduled for October. The only other candidate currently in the running for the position is PLP MP Jason Hayward.
