Christopher Scores In FH Hafnarfjörður’s Victory
Bermudian footballer Nia Christopher scored as FH Hafnarfjörður defeated Víkingur Reykjavík 5-2 in Icelandic top-flight women’s football action.
Víkingur opened the scoring in the 11th minute through Freyja Stefánsdóttir, but FH responded quickly. Christopher equalised in the 17th minute and Ingibjörg Magnúsdóttir scored one minute later to give FH a 2-1 lead at half-time.
FH extended their advantage in the second half, with Deja Sandoval scoring with a header in the 57th minute. Thelma Hermannsdóttir added another goal, before Jóhanna Halldórsdóttir scored for Víkingur in the 71st minute.
Andrea Hauksdóttir completed the scoring for FH, with KSÍ listing the goal in the 80th minute, as FH secured the 5-2 victory.
