Football: Dandy Stars Defeat Lady Trojans 1-0
Dandy Stars recorded a 1-0 victory over defending champions Somerset Lady Trojans in the Bermuda Football Association Women’s League at Bernard Park.
The match remained scoreless until the 41st minute when Jahni Simmons scored the game’s only goal, finding space inside the penalty area before finishing past the goalkeeper.
Somerset pushed for an equaliser after the break as they sought to maintain their unbeaten record, but Dandy Stars’ defence held firm to preserve the clean sheet.
