Bermuda football action saw a double-header of comeback victories as Dandy Stars and the PHC Zebras both overturned early deficits to secure wins.

Dandy Stars 4 Bermuda Under-17 National Select Team 1

Jahni Simmons scored three goals to lead Dandy Stars to a 4-1 victory over the Bermuda Under-17 National Select Team.

The youth select side took an early lead in the 20th minute when Leydi Raynor scored past the Dandy Stars goalkeeper.

Dandy Stars responded in the 36th minute when Jahni Simmons scored the equalizing goal. Three minutes later, her twin sister, Jahde Simmons, scored in the 39th minute to give Dandy Stars a 2-1 lead. Jahni Simmons extended the advantage to 3-1 in the 44th minute, scoring her second goal of the match just before halftime.

The Under-17 National Select Team adjusted its defensive formation for the second half, but Jahni Simmons completed her hat-trick in the 62nd minute to secure the 4-1 final score for Dandy Stars.

PHC Zebras 3 Somerset Eagles 1

The PHC Zebras defeated the Somerset Eagles 3-1 in a Bermuda Football Association Under-23 Division match after recovering from an early one-goal deficit.

The Somerset Eagles opened the scoring in the 21st minute when Marco Basden converted a shot through a crowd of defenders to give the West End team a 1-0 lead.

The PHC Zebras equalized in the 34th minute. Enoch Joseph capitalized on a defensive error to score, bringing the teams level at 1-1 before the halftime interval.

The Zebras took their first lead of the match in the 56th minute when Tristen Davis scored from inside the penalty area.

Somerset increased its attacking numbers late in the second half, but the PHC Zebras secured the victory on a counter-attack in the 87th minute, when Xave Smith scored to finalize the 3-1 scoreline.
