Tennis: Daniel Phillips Advances In Doubles
Bermudian tennis player Daniel Phillips and his partner Dinko Dinev of Bulgaria advanced to the quarter-finals of the doubles draw at the M15 Kayseri tournament in Turkey.
The pair defeated Turkey’s Kemal Arda Karakas and Aril Kayra Tuna in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, in the opening round of the hard-court tournament.
Phillips and Dinev won both sets by identical 6-4 scorelines to move into the final eight of the doubles draw at the International Tennis Federation [ITF] World Tennis Tour event.
