Adriana Penruddocke Secures Pan Am Spot
Sailor Adriana Penruddocke secured Bermuda a qualification place for the 2027 Pan American Games after impressing at the San Pedro Olympic Class Racing Regatta in Los Angeles.
Bermuda has now qualified one men’s and one women’s sailing berth for the Games in Lima, Peru, next summer after Sebastian Kempe also earned a place for the island.
Penruddocke finished 39th in the ILCA 6 fleet with 209 net points, while Kempe placed fourteenth in the ILCA 7 fleet to secure Bermuda’s qualification.
There are 17 available qualification spots for the 41 member nations.
