Bermuda’s U20 Volleyball Teams Return
Bermuda’s Under-20 Women’s Beach Volleyball Team returned to the island after capturing the gold medal at the ECVA Under-20 Beach Volleyball Championships in St. Kitts and Nevis, along with the Bermuda’s Under-20 Men’s Beach Volleyball Team, who finished ninth.
A Government spokesperson said, “Bermuda’s Under-20 Women’s Beach Volleyball Team returned home after capturing the gold medal at the ECVA Under-20 Beach Volleyball Championships in St. Kitts and Nevis yesterday. Also returning was Bermuda’s Under-20 Men’s Beach Volleyball Team, who finished ninth at the championships.
“The teams were welcomed by the Minister of Justice, Senator Kim Wilkerson, who is serving as the Acting Minister of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport.”
Olivia Gazzard and Isabella Sousa captured the gold medal, while Carter Lamb and Daniel Morris competed in the men’s division.
