Clave Dance To Celebrate Its 10th Anniversary

Clave Dance Bermuda will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a four-day festival of Latin dance events from July 16 to 19.

A spokesperson said, “Clave Dance Bermuda, the island’s premier Latin dance community, is celebrating a decade of bringing people together through music, movement and culture with an unforgettable four-day anniversary celebration from July 16–19, 2026.

“Over the past ten years, Clave Dance Bermuda has grown from a weekly Thursday social dance gathering into one of Bermuda’s most vibrant cultural communities, introducing residents and visitors to the joy of salsa, bachata and Latin dance styles. The milestone weekend promises an exciting lineup of social dancing, beach parties, professional workshops, elegant performances and signature events that showcase the passion and energy that have defined Clave Dance since its inception.

“The celebration begins on Thursday, July 16, where it all started – with Clave’s legendary Thursday night social at Docksiders. Guests can expect an evening filled with dancing, great music and the welcoming atmosphere that has made Thursday nights a Bermuda tradition.

“On Friday, July 17, the festivities move to Chaplin Bay for a beach bonfire party celebrating bachata and Afro-Cuban rhythms with DJ Magia. Set against Bermuda’s stunning coastline, attendees will enjoy music, dancing and island vibes under the stars.

“The weekend continues on Saturday, July 18, with dance workshops at the Hamilton Princess between 12noon-3pm led by internationally acclaimed World Salsa Champions, Benny Ayala and Ashley Magana from the U.S, offering dancers of every level the opportunity to develop their skills and learn from some of the world’s best Latin dance professionals.

“Saturday evening culminates in an elegant Black-Tie social dance Gala at the Trudeau Ballroom, Hamilton Princess Hotel from 7pm. The evening will feature a spectacular performance by Benny and Ashley, as well as a performance from local Latin dance talent Tempo Bermuda, all supported by DJ Korie Minors.

“The celebration concludes on Sunday, July 19 2.30pm-6.30pm, aboard the iconic Good Vibrations for Clave Dance Bermuda’s legendary boat party with DJ Coye, delivering one final afternoon of music, dancing and breathtaking island views.”
