Cup Match Ribbons Presented To Premier
Premier David Burt recently welcomed representatives of the Family Centre to the Cabinet Office for the presentation of this year’s Cup Match ribbons.
A spokesperson said, “Government support has helped the Family Centre expand its programmes and services for children and families across Bermuda which include youth mental health initiatives.
“The annual Cup Match ribbon campaign provides an opportunity for the public to support those efforts and help ensure that these services remain available to those who need them.
“Representing the Family Centre were Executive Director Dr. Sandy De Silva, Relationship Development Director Thania Redman, and Fund Development Specialist and Digital Media Manager Hannah Collins de la Cruz. Joining them was Jennifer Wild, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Clarien Bank. Premier Burt thanked the Family Centre for its ongoing efforts to support Bermuda’s children and families.”
The Premier said, “The Family Centre has touched the lives of many children and families in Bermuda through the services and support it provides. As we prepare for Cup Match, I encourage the public to purchase a ribbon and support this year’s campaign. Every ribbon helps the Family Centre continue delivering programmes that many families rely on.”
The spokesperson said, “Cup Match ribbons are available in Somerset and St. George’s colours, with proceeds supporting the Family Centre’s therapeutic and community programmes.”
