Trey Mallory won the Battle of Boca UTR Pro event in Florida, with his strong showing earning the talented tennis player a main draw wild card for the upcoming ITF M15 ATC Open in Paraguay.
The Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association said, “Trey Mallory won Battle of Boca UTR Pro event In Florida defeating American Avner Wong in a grueling three-set victory 6-4;1-6 ; 10-5.
“The victory guarantees Mallory a highly coveted main draw wild card spot at the upcoming ITF M15 ATC Open [Men’s Open] in Asuncion, Paraguay.
“Mallory started the day warming up with his teammate Tariq Simons and coach Jhonny Berrido helping him to find his rhythm, calibrating his strokes and settling his nerves before the high stake competition.”
