Netball: Devonshire Rec Defeat Lady Stars
Devonshire Rec defeated Lady Stars 28-18 in the latest round of the Summer Women’s Netball League.
The only match of the evening saw Devonshire Rec take control early and secure a 10-goal victory.
Miesha Greaves scored 13 goals for Devonshire Rec, while Charlene Bogle added 11 and Zakiyah Durham scored four.
Greaves was named the team’s best attacker, Demiqua Daniels earned most valuable player honors and Imani Smith was named best defender.
Marissa Brangman scored 13 goals for Lady Stars, with K’xiyae Gibbons adding five.
For Lady Stars, Sudan Reid was named both most valuable player and best defender, while Chiaje Rudo received the team’s best attacker award.
